Initial intertwined with a snake

The initial “I” beginning the document in which King Sigismund I grants Krakow's bakers the right to bake white bread. The gilt initial, decorated with picturesque floral ornaments, is intertwined with a snake with a crown – the herb of the House of Sforza.
